Creating an Intention

Creating an intention  in the future will work, because by stating the intention it is impressed upon the subconscious mind, and the subconscious mind only thinks in the present. It does not know the past or the future.  So, for example if you say, I intend to get a good parking space. The subconscious takes that and says, I always get a good parking space.

Signs Follow, They Do Not Precede

I have always been baffled by this Neville Goddard statement. Until today, that is. As I read At Your Command it finally dawned on me exactly what it means. The exact passage from the book reads, "It is impossible for the poor man to find wealth in this world no matter how he is surrounded with it until he first claims himself to be wealthy. For signs follow, they do not precede."
I want to share a personal success story of how a sign followed something I claimed as mine. I was desiring a new job. One day while working a lady said to me, "My company is hiring." The job appealed to me very much so I decided to apply for it. I went home, uploaded my resume and applied for the job on the job site it was advertised on. I thought, "That job is mine." I never gave it another thought. Four days later the company contacted me and asked me if I could meet the supervisor for an interview. Of course I said, "Yes!" I once again stated to myself, "That job is mine." The appointed day came and I set out for the interview. As I was driving an ad came on the radio. It stated that the job site on which I had applied for the job was a place where employers hire responsible employees. I smiled to myself, realizing I was receiving a sign confirming that the job was indeed mine. I arrived at the interview and chatted with the supervisor for a bit, about halfway through the interview she told me I was hired. Only halfway through, just like that, you're hired. What I had claimed as mine manifested and the sign had followed my claim.
You must first claim that which you want, claim it, say, (name what you want) is mine. Do not look for signs to confirm it, already know it inside.
For it is already yours.

What Is Your Mental Diet?

We hear so much about manifesting, as if it is something on the outside, like we are trying to get something. I will do this technique and this technique and this technique, to get what I want. But that is not it. You already have what you desire, it is inside of you.
"Praying, then, is recognizing yourself to be that which you desire to be rather than begging God for that which you desire." ~ The Secret of Prayer, Neville Goddard
Recognize yourself to be that which you desire. You are not asking for it. YOU ARE IT! All you need to do is recognize it. So now, being it, think and speak from it.
First off, know what you want, then shift your mind into that state. Affirm it. For example, I want money, what will I affirm. I AM RICH, I ATTRACT A LOT OF MONEY, MONEY NEEDS ME.  I am speaking from my state. I have done this several times, sometimes I have simply declared, MONEY IS COMING TO ME. And without fail, within a few days I will receive large sums of money from unexpected places.
      "
To think is to speak low, to speak is to think aloud." ~Prayer, the Art of Believing, Neville Goddard
Everything starts from within us. The person who masters their thoughts will master their world. That is where the mental diet comes in. What your thoughts are is speaking, and as such is creating your world. What are your thoughts creating? I want to tell a little story of my own that shows the power of thought creation. I was sure one of the guys where I worked did not like me, and was deliberately doing things to sabotage me. I was pretty new to Neville Goddard's teachings. I came across the story of the woman who had a problem at work with another person. Neville's advice, change your thoughts about the person. So, that is just what I did. I began to affirm, ______(inserted his name) likes to help me. He is always helping me. Let me tell you, in no time at all, he was always doing things to help me. He changed? No, I changed my thoughts, it simply reflected in my outer world. He was compelled to help me. For
"others only echo that which we whisper to them in secret."~The Power of Awareness, Neville Goddard
This last paragraph is for the sp crowd. I heard a success story recently. It was about a girl, who, for six years, wanted her sp, had convinced herself it would not happen. She, recognizing that he was her, pushed out, changed her mental diet. She began to think and speak from the premise that they were indeed together. She held conversations with him in her mind, always reflecting her state of being with him. She had not had any contact with him all of those 6 years. NONE! Within a few short months, he, not even knowing where she was currently living, searched for her, and found her. He said everything to her that she had created in her mental conversations, EVERYTHING!
So now, I ask you, what is your mental diet?
